In order to cultivate professionals in technical research, design, and construction related to facility plant production, the modular teaching path of Plant Physiology course in local undergraduate colleges was explored. The current teaching situation of this course was analyzed, the teaching content was divided into 5 modules, and a modular teaching approach was designed. And the specific implementation path were analyzed from three aspects: reshaping teaching objectives, dividing content modules, designing modular teaching, and applying it. The practical results had shown that this teaching method effectively stimulates students’ interest in learning, enhanced their practical application ability of theoretical knowledge, improved teaching effectiveness, and provided references for promoting enhance the quality of teaching and student training in this course.
