Construction and optimization strategies of urban water quality monitoring network

Abstract

Establishing a scientific and reasonable water quality monitoring network is the basis for ensuring water environment safety and effectively carrying out water pollution control. The current state of water quality monitoring network construction was dissected in this text, with an analysis of the aspects of water quality monitoring network construction that were in need of improvement. Strategies and pathways for advancing the construction of the water quality monitoring network were proposed from various perspectives, including the deployment of monitoring points in key areas, the construction of mobile monitoring platforms, the integration of volunteer monitoring points, and the establishment of a system for the public disclosure of monitoring points. This was done to provide a reference for the optimization and upgrade of urban water quality monitoring networks, which supports refined management and systematic governance.
