Analysis of termite prediction and forecasting methods and its application

Prediction and forecasting plays an important role in the prevention and control of termites. The main methods of termite prediction and forecasting, including biological characteristics observation method, environmental factor analysis method, mathematical model prediction method, remote sensing and geographic information system technology were reviewed, and the links that need to be improved in the current prediction and forecasting technology in terms of prediction methods, prediction accuracy, prediction and forecasting system and public cognition were analyzed. On this basis, suggestions were put forward to consolidate basic research and interdisciplinary collaboration, promote technological innovation and intelligent application, improve the prediction and forecasting system and standardization construction, and strengthen science popularization and publicity, so as to provide references for the development and application of termite prediction and forecasting technology.
