Influencing factors and countermeasures for rapeseed production in Quanjiao County

This article analyzed the current situation of rapeseed production in Quanjiao County, Anhui Province and the factors affecting the local rapeseed yield, and proposed corresponding solutions. The study area mainly adopts the rice stubble rapeseed planting model. The yield performance of the transplanted rapeseed seedlings is relatively good. Mechanized technologies such as shallow tillage for land preparation, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fertilization, disease and pest aerial spraying have been gradually promoted and applied in production. Cultivation methods, sowing periods, seedling conditions, frost damage, waterlogging damage, pest and disease infestations, and weed infestations all have an impact on the local yield of rapeseed and the overall planting efficiency. The main measures for achieving high yield and high quality cultivation of rapeseed include introducing and improving the mechanized seedling raising and transplanting technology for rapeseed, optimizing the crop rotation scheme, choosing the rice-rapeseed rotation method; selecting resistant and high quality varieties, implementing straw returning to the field; moderately irrigating to replenish moisture, spraying plant growth regulators such as brassinolide; reasonably applying boron fertilizer, using drone spraying to prevent and control rapeseed sclerotinia disease, avoiding the period when bees are foraging for flowers, etc. This article provides a reference for the high quality development of the rapeseed industry in the relevant regions.
