With the rapid development of information technology and Internet technology, the “smart+” education concept is rising and rapidly applied in the education industry. In the context of “smart+” education, the teaching of Animal Immunology course faces certain challenges. The current situation of Animal Immunology course teaching was analyzed in three aspects: teaching philosophy, teaching model, and assessment and evaluation system. The reform and innovation of the course were explored under the concept of smart teaching education. Starting from three aspects: teaching philosophy innovation, teaching model optimization, and assessment and evaluation system optimization, a student-centered course teaching model was constructed, and the effectiveness of teaching practice were analyzed to improve teaching quality.
